Solar, 2021 - Finalist Sculpture in the Vineyards Wollombi, 2021/2022.

Polished metal, raw steel, paint on timber base. Dimensions variable approx. 1.5m (H) x 3.6m (L) x 2.8m (W)

The work is made up of eight triangular panels arranged in a seemingly random way. When the viewer walks to a nominated viewing position and looks through a viewfinder, the sails morph together to be seen as a perfect circle.

The work explores the idea that things are rarely as they first seem: it takes time to discover the work.
